| Bill says the following. I believe I have a rare Mustang. I do not
have any documentation but what I hear at shows and cruises,
it was ordered and received built identical to the Boss 351
in May 15 1972. VIN # 2FO5R202909. The door info-63R 3J GA
5 V 45. One version is Ford had about 1000 drive trains left
over from 1971 and the government put the skids to the 1972's
being built. But Ford snuck them thru with the 2V and 4V 351
models. My pony has a 351 solid lifter, 4 bolt main, 3/4 cam,
alum-pistons, Holley double pumper carb and Ram Air (workable).
It also has a Top Loader 4 speed, Hurst shifter, 9 in. rear
end with 3.91 gears, competition and racing suspension, staggered
shocks, front and rear lower spoilers and a deck air foil.
Unit could not be ordered with any options. (PW, PS, Air,
etc.). Ford supposedly built 500 Sportsroof AND 500 Convertibles?
I would appreciate any information or history. vallib2@aol.com |
