This site is dedicated to the Classic Ford Mustangs from 1964½ through 1973. These early Mustangs spawned a new generation of American automobiles that would come to be known as pony cars. With their sporty, long front ends and short rear decks, many manufacturers tried to duplicate the style, but none could come close to capturing the spirit that the original Mustang brought to the American car buyer.

Introduced to the general public on April 17, 1964, the Ford Mustang became an overnight success. It's sales success and popularity led to a revolution in American car design. That same popularity continues today.
